# Pasalic keen to prove his worth on loan at AC Milan

Chelsea midfielder Mario Pasalic’s representatives have played down reports that he will return to Stamford Bridge in January after failing to impress so far on loan with AC Milan.

The Croatian is yet to feature for Chelsea since his move from Hajduk Split in 2014, and was given limited game-time during his loan spell with Monaco last season despite scoring two goals in four appearances for the French side.

Pasalic joined AC Milan on loan on transfer deadline day but has only featured in two friendlies for the Italian outfit since the move., making his debut in a friendly against Bournemouth earlier this month.

And amidst reports that the Serie A side are close to cutting his loan spell short, Pasalic’s representative Federico Pastorello has told Italian news outlet [Calciomercato.it](https://www.calciomercato.it/news/397495/calciomercato-milan-esclusivo-agente-pasalic-ritorno-al-chelsea-vi-spiego-tutto.html) that the midfielder was recovering from an injury but his time to shine will come.

> He has not played because according to coach Montella he is a little ‘back in physical condition’ because he didn’t do the physical training with the others as he was still recovering from injury. He played only two friendly game since he arrived. His time is coming soon.

Pasalic made the move to Stamford Bridge in 2014 after an impressive debut season at senior level for his former club, with his 11 goals in 36 appearances helping Hajduk Split finish third in the Croatian league.
