# Willian wants to finish his career with Chelsea

Chelsea winger Willian has played down reports that he was interested in a move to Paris Saint-Germain in the summer and has stated he would love to see out his footballing career with Chelsea, according to [The Guardian](https://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/oct/12/football-transfer-rumours-chelsea-atletico-madrid-yannick-carrasco).

The Brazilian has been one of Chelsea’s best and most consistent players since rejecting a move to Tottenham and joining the Blues for £30m in 2013, making over 140 appearances for the club.

It appears as though the 28-year-old is looking to make a few more, suggesting it would be an honour to finish his career at a club with the stature of Chelsea.

Playing down reports linking him with a move to PSG, he said:

> I read some things in the press on this topic but personally, I never received a concrete offer. My family feels good in London, I am growing in a team that plays beautiful football…It would be a privilege to finish my career at a club as big as Chelsea.

Willian and Brazilian teammate Oscar return to the league with Chelsea this weekend, after the former started and scored in Brazil’s 2-0 victory over Venezuela this morning, after coming on as a substitute in Brazil’s 5-0 win against Bolivia at the weekend, while the latter did not feature in either fixture.
