# Milan officials visit Stamford Bridge to make Fabregas enquiry

AC Milan officials attended Chelsea’s 3-0 win over Premier League champions Leicester to make an enquiry about Cesc Fabregas.

As reported by the [Evening Standard](https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/chelsea-transfer-news-ac-milan-take-cesc-fabregas-chase-to-london-with-midfielder-facing-uncertain-a3370776.html), the Italian club’s chief executive and sporting director Marco Fassone and Massimiliano Mirabelli were  at Stamford Bridge in a bid to make contacts, but were also casting an eye over a possible deal for the Spaniard.

Unfortunately for them, Fabregas wasn’t named in the match day squad for the victory, he was ruled out of the game with a minor injury.

Fabregas has failed to stake a claim in the current Chelsea squad, with claims that he is no longer part of Antonio Conte’s plans.

Milan are on the hunt for a new midfielder after Ricardo Montolivo has been sidelined with a serious knee injury.

The fallen Italian giants are set to be backed by new Chinese investment, like rivals Inter Milan, and are putting plans in place to secure high-profile transfers.
