# Chelsea players past and present react to United win

There was plenty to smile about following Chelsea’s 4-0 victory over Manchester United on Sunday afternoon, well if you’re a Chelsea player or fan that is.

The Blues raced home to a comfortable victory against Jose Mourinho’s United side, scoring after just 30 seconds in a match that almost certainly seemed to matter more to the Chelsea players than it did to United’s.

Antonio Conte’s men were fired up from the off, and built on Pedro’s early opener through Gary Cahill, Eden Hazard and N’Golo Kante, who scored his first goal for the club.

And some of the players took to Twitter following the match to continue the celebrations and emphasise how much the win meant for the team.

Cahill, who captained the side and scored the second goal, summed the performance up with this picture.

And despite not featuring during the game, Oscar posted this on his Twitter page, showing the team spirit in the dressing room following the result.

\<blockquote class=”twitter-tweet” data-lang=”en”\>\<p lang=”pt” dir=”ltr”\>Come on \<a href=”https://twitter.com/ChelseaFC”\>@chelseafc\</a\> ***\<br\>Great game today !!! \<br\>Grande jogo hoje !!! \<a href=”https://t.co/z53BCGzpc4″\>pic.twitter.com/z53BCGzpc4\</a\>\</p\>— Oscar (@oscar8) \<a href=”https://twitter.com/oscar8/status/790244392565104641″\>October 23, 2016\</a\>\</blockquote\> \<script async src=”//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js” charset=”utf-8″\>\</script***

Nathaniel Chalobah, Asmir Begovic and goalscorer Pedro al got in on the act.

\<blockquote class=”twitter-tweet” data-lang=”en”\>\<p lang=”en” dir=”ltr”\>Well done boys *. Good atmosphere at the bridge today as well . Thanks for the support \<a href=”https://twitter.com/ChelseaFC”\>@ChelseaFC\</a\> \<a href=”https://t.co/Wghj9O45v7″\>pic.twitter.com/Wghj9O45v7\</a\>\</p\>— Nathaniel Chalobah (@chalobah) \<a href=”https://twitter.com/chalobah/status/790282034610577408″\>October 23, 2016\</a\>\</blockquote\> \<script async src=”//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js” charset=”utf-8″\>\</script\>*

\<blockquote class=”twitter-tweet” data-lang=”en”\>\<p lang=”en” dir=”ltr”\>Well done the lads! Well played. \<blockquote class=”twitter-tweet” data-lang=”en”\>\<p lang=”es” dir=”ltr”\>Feliz por una gran victoria ante nuestra afición / Happy after a great win in The Bridge for our fans. And it wasn’t just current Chelsea players who enjoyed the result.

Former Blue’s Juliano Belletti, Michael Essien, Ashley Cole, Michael Ballack and Eider Gudjohnsen all took to their respective social media pages following the result. Gudjohnsen’s tongue-in-cheek Tweet is my favourite.

\<blockquote class=”twitter-tweet” data-lang=”en”\>\<p lang=”en” dir=”ltr”\>OMG!! Blue is the color…!!! Fantastic performance by \<a href=”https://twitter.com/ChelseaFC”\>@ChelseaFC\</a\> !! Pride!!!
