# Pedro targeting the title this season

Chelsea winger Pedro has claimed that his side can win the Premier League title this season, the [Daily Mail](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3866746/Chelsea-win-Premier-League-title-claims-Spanish-forward-Pedro.html) have reported.

> It’s the way to show we can fight for the title. For me it’s perfect that (Antonio) Conte is confident with me.

The Spain international is enjoying a good run of form with the Blues and is looking to build on their good start to the season against Southampton on Sunday afternoon.

> The work is perfect. The same work continues.

Chelsea currently sit in fourth place in the Premier League but are clearly heading into the remainder of the season with a lot of confidence and determination to go all the way and put in a strong challenge for top flight glory.

Pedro has been utilised in a different kind of role to what he has been accustomed to, with him playing as the most advanced winger in a 3-4-3 formation, with Victor Moses behind him as the right wing-back option.

However, it’s clear that under Antonio Conte, Pedro is flourishing and he is in the form of his life in the new system.
