# Gallery: Chelsea’s best images of the season so far

Life under Antonio Conte got off to the perfect start as Chelsea won their first three league matches, seeing off [West Ham](https://readwestham.com/), [Watford](https://readwatford.com/) and [Burnley](https://readburnley.com/) in August.

However, the Blues endured a turbulent September and last season’s defensive problems appeared to be coming back to haunt Conte, as the Blues drew 2-2 away to [Swansea](https://readswansea.com/) and lost 2-1 at home to [Liverpool](https://readliverpoolfc.com/), before a damning 3-0 defeat away to [Arsenal](https://readarsenal.com/).

Conte had stuck with a traditional 4-2-3-1 formation until the second-half of the [Arsenal](https://readarsenal.com/) match, when the Italian switched to his favoured 3-4-3 in an attempt to change Chelsea’s fortunes.

And I think it’s fair to say he’s done a pretty good job since the switch in formation.

The Blues since have won five league matches on the bounce, scoring 16 goals and keeping a clean sheet in every victory, and turned in one of the best Chelsea performances many of us have seen in a fair few years against [Everton](https://readeverton.com/) last weekend.

The victories over Hull, [Leicester](https://readleicester.com/), [Manchester United](https://readmanutd.com/), [Southampton](https://readsouthampton.com/) and [Everton](https://readeverton.com/) have taken Chelsea to second in the league, just a point behind leaders [Liverpool](https://readliverpoolfc.com/) as the season reaches another international break.

Here are some of the best images from Chelsea’s season so far:
