Chelsea’s Belgian ‘keeper Thibaut Courtois is reportedly set to move to Spanish club Real Madrid, reportedly with early discussion already taken place to take 24-year-old to the Bernabeu.
The Belgian International has finally found his form again, recovering from the dreadful form and season that Chelsea faced last year, which saw Jose Mourinho sacked; and because of this, he is facing heavy interest from several clubs across Europe, but Real Madrid is leading the chase.
He recently admitted that he would be willing to play in Spain again, following a three-year spell with Real’s rivals, Atletico Madrid.
He is one of the best ‘keepers currently in the world, on the same similar level as David de Gea and Manuel Neuer.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the coin; Chelsea are reportedly interested in Los Blancos midfielder James Rodriguez, and the West London club will probably hope that they don’t have to sacrifice their first team goalkeeper for him.
