# PSG eyeing Batshuayi loan swoop

According to a report this morning from the [Evening Standard](https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/psg-join-race-to-sign-chelsea-striker-michy-batshuayi-on-loan-and-could-even-move-for-crystal-palace-a3439641.html), French giants PSG have joined the chase for Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi.

The Belgium international’s future has come under a lot of scrutiny in the last couple of months as a result of a lack of consistent game time at Chelsea under manager Antonio Conte.

Now, it looks as though PSG will try to test The Blues’ hand with an audacious loan move for the young striker.

Batshuayi joined Chelsea in the summer for a huge sum of £33 million from PSG’s Ligue 1 rivals Marseille but has failed to really hit the ground running due to the lack of first-team action combined with Diego Costa’s superb form keeping him out of the team.

Although Conte is claimed to be keen to keep hold of Batshuayi this month, the likes of PSG, West Ham and Swansea City have all expressed an interest in the attacker.
