# Borussia Monchengladbach eye summer swoop for Chelsea duo

Borussia Monchengladbach are planning their summer recruitment strategy and they have apparently decided that they want to complete two deals that will see a couple of Chelsea players join their side before the start of next season.

According to reports from the [Express](https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/764888/Chelsea-transfer-news-Ruben-Loftus-Cheek-Andreas-Christensen-Borussia-Monchengladbach), the German club are keen to sign Andreas Christensen on a permanent deal after he’s impressed during his two-year loan with them. Chelsea are apparently ready to bring the Danish international back into their first team squad next season to fill the void left by the likely departure of John Terry. However, Monchengladbach are willing to pay around £14m to take sign him, so Chelsea could decide to cash in.

The German side also have their eye on another Chelsea player; Ruben Loftus-Cheek. The 21-year-old is finding game time tough to come by this season and Monchengladbach are keen to take him on loan, a deal which could be beneficial for all parties involved.
