# Chelsea target Fernando Muslera outlines contract demands

Should Thibaut Courtois be sold in the summer, Chelsea will be in the market for a new goalkeeper and the [Telegraph](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2017/01/25/chelsea-consider-move-celtic-goalkeepercraig-gordon-asasmir/) have reported that the Blues are interested in a move for Galatasaray stopper Fernando Muslera.

Antonio Conte tried to sign Muslera in the January transfer window as a replacement for the Bournemouth-bound Asmir Begovic, but Galatasaray managed to resist Chelsea’s interest and set a [€25 million price tag](https://turkish-football.com/chelsea-transfer-news-european-giants-galatasaray-wants-e25m-goalkeeper-target-fernando-muslera/) on the Uruguay international.

The ‘keeper is under contract until the end of next season and is in a standoff with the Turkish Super Lig club over a new contract.

If a deal can’t be reached to extend his contract, Muslera may be made available for transfer in the summer with Chelsea ready to renew their interest.
