# Real Madrid confident of landing Eden Hazard

Eden Hazard has always been public with his desire to one day play for Real Madrid but Chelsea fans don’t really want to see it happen anytime soon.

Unfortunately for them, Real Madrid are said to be growing increasingly confident in landing Hazard during the summer transfer window to be the latest ‘Galactico’, according to the [Mirror](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/real-madrids-confidence-growing-over-10196810).

Madrid have made signing the Belgian attacker their no.1 priority in the summer and are willing to break the £89m transfer record set by Manchester United last summer when they bought Paul Pogba from Juventus to do so.

It’s claimed that Madrid are even ready to make Hazard the first ever £100m player in order to bring him to the Bernabeu.

To counter this, Chelsea are looking to offer the 26-year-old a new long-term contract worth an incredible £300,000-a-week.

Real Madrid are also open to including striker Alvaro Morata as part of the deal if Chelsea are keen on acquiring him in the summer, and they have been linked with a move for the Spaniard who worked with Conte at Juventus.
