# Inter attempting to prise Conte from Chelsea

Serie A giants Inter Milan are trying to do everything in their power to snatch Antonio Conte from Chelsea this summer.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, via [Sport Witness,](https://sportwitness.co.uk/chelseas-conte-set-receive-e55m-offer-leave-stamford-bridge-club-getting-desperate/) Inter are willing to spend €55m on acquiring the Italian boss.

The report says that Inter are prepared to offer Conte a salary of €11m-per-season.

A hefty wage, but Conte has continually backed himself to stay at Chelsea beyond the end of the season.

Chelsea are currently top of the Premier League and are in the FA Cup Final against Arsenal at the end of next month.

His vastly-praised 3-2-2-3 system at Chelsea has attracted suitors, with Inter feeling he is the man who can turn their fortunes around and begin to challenge with Juventus and Roma at the top of the table.

However, Inter are also considering a move for Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone, who has led the Spanish side into the semi-finals of the Champions League this season.
