# Manchester United to make shock move for Chelsea forward

Manchester United are set to make a shock move for Chelsea winger Willian in the summer.

According to [ESPN](https://www.espnfc.com/story/3112802/jose-mourinho-targets-chelseas-willian-for-man-united-move-sources), United manager Jose Mourinho is ready to return to his former club to snap up Willian for his side.

Mourinho managed Willian at Chelsea, and helped to produce the best of him last season as the Brazilian was hailed as one of the best in the Premier League during the first half of last season.

Willian has only started 13 Premier League matches so far this season, although has scored a respectable six goals.

The 28-year-old has, however, been a hit in the FA Cup. The winger has scored five goals in four FA Cup appearances, including two in the semi-final against Tottenham last weekend.

Willian’s lack of game-time could lead to a potential switch to Old Trafford, similar to that of Juan Mata’s move from Chelsea to Manchester United.

The report claims that Willian refused a move to the Chinese league in January.
