# West Brom vs Chelsea – match preview

Chelsea finally have the opportunity to wrap up the Premier League title on Friday night after the Blues beat Middlesbrough 3-0 on Monday to restore their seven-point lead at the top of the table.

Diego Costa, Marcos Alonso and Nemanja Matic were all on target whilst a Man of the Match performance from Cesc Fabregas made sure that Chelsea capitalised upon Tottenham’s loss to West Ham.West Brom now offers Antonio Conte’s men the chance to record a second title in three years, and a fifth in the Premier League era.

The trip to West Brom now offers Antonio Conte’s men the chance to record a second title in three years, and a fifth in the Premier League era.

West Brom were unlucky not to secure their first victory in six games, after succumbing to a 2-2 draw against Burnley. they did, however, manage to get on the scoresheet for the first time since their 3-1 win over Arsenal, and much like London buses, the Baggies waited so long for one goal only to see two arrive in quick succession.

Johnny Evans, Matt Phillips and Hal Robson-Kanu are all set to return from their respective injuries in time for the match, whilst Chelsea will also be hoping that PFA Player of the Year N’Golo Kane is able to return having not featured in Monday’s comprehensive victory over Middlesbrough due to a thigh strain.
