Terry has doubts over Bournemouth move due to their fast flowing style of play
John Terry has doubts about a move to Bournemouth as West Brom manager Tony Pulis steps up his efforts to sign the club captain.
The Telegraph claim that Terry fears Bournemouth’s open and fast flowing style of football may leave him exposed at the back, despite being one of the Premier League’s more technical defenders.
Baggies manager Pulis is keen to sign the defender this summer and is preparing to hold talks with the Chelsea captain.
Terry is now believed to prefer a move to West Brom, who are known more for their defensive style of play.
There are believed to be offers on the table from both the Chinese Super League and the MLS but Terry is thought to prefer a move elsewhere in the Premier League.
Terry is now believed to be earning somewhere in the region of £50,000 at Chelsea, meaning wages would not be as much of an issue for Premier League clubs.
Bournemouth have previously been linked with Terry, as well as fellow Chelsea duo Nathan Ake and Asmir Begovic.
