# Hazard keen to stay put at Chelsea

Chelsea winger Eden Hazard has dispelled rumours of him leaving the club this summer, insisting that Stamford Bridge is like a ‘second home’ to him.

Quoted by the [Evening Standard](https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/eden-hazard-chelsea-are-my-second-home-i-want-to-keep-on-winning-trophies-here-a3556286.html), the Belgium international discussed his future at Chelsea and spoke of how he loves being at the club.

> I like it here because it’s a family club. I have a lot of friends and we all talk to each other. In terms of games and experience I’m one of the oldest players and that’s good.

> This is my second home and I’m happy at Chelsea. I just want to keep going, maintain this intensity and continue to win trophies.

Hazard enjoyed a quite simply stunning season for the Blues last term, contributing to their title victory and reestablishing himself as one of the most potent performers in the country.

Without a doubt, Hazard will be a key man in Antonio Conte’s plans for next season, so the news that he is happy to remain at the club for the foreseeable future is sure to be a big boost to everyone associated with Chelsea.

The report states that Hazard may be offered a new deal at Stamford Bridge worth £300,000 per week, making him the Blues’ highest paid player.
