# Chelsea favourites to land Ruben Neves

Chelsea are looking to bolster their midfield ranks this summer and the Blues have been [linked with a move](https://readchelsea.com/2017/06/13/chelsea-join-liverpool-race-ruben-neves/) for Porto starlet Ruben Neves.

The Portugal international midfielder is also on the radars of both Liverpool and Juventus this summer as well according to A Bola (h/t [Sport Witness](https://sportwitness.co.uk/club-still-waiting-liverpool-chelsea-offer-complete-transfer-swoop/)), but Antonio Conte’s side are the bookies favourites to land his signature, with [odds as short as 3/1](https://www.football.london/chelsea-fc/transfer-news/chelsea-favourites-ruben-neves-fernando-13237793).

Porto have already allowed Andre Silva to leave the club for AC Milan and their financial situation means that they may have to cash-in on more of their top players in order to balance the books.

Neves is regarded as one of the brightest young midfielders in European football, but the 20-year-old made just six Liga NOS starts for Porto last season which has sparked rumours that they’re ready to offload him.

With a €40m release clause in his contract, [Chelsea](https://readchelsea.com/), [Liverpool](https://readliverpoolfc.com/) or [Juventus](https://readseriea.com/) are all looking to sign Neves, but if Porto are desperate for a sale, they could consider accepting a cut-price offer.
