# Nathan Ake joins Bournemouth for £20m

Chelsea defender Nathan Ake has joined Bournemouth for a deal worth around £20million,

The 22-year-old spent the beginning of last season on loan with the Cherries and memorably scored the winning goal in their 4-3 win over Liverpool.

However, Chelsea recalled him early to add some depth to their squad, although he was used sparingly.

Chelsea were happy to keep the player at the club, however, the player has expressed a desire to play regular football as he looks to cement himself as a regular international player for Holland and the Blues were unable to guarantee him that.
