# Highly rated Chelsea youngster wanted by Hull City

Chelsea youngster Ola Aina is a transfer target for Championship club Hull City who have inquired about the right back’s availability on loan, according to a report in the [Yorkshire Post](https://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/sport/football).

The young right back is desperate for first team action in the upcoming campaign and with no assurances being given to him at Stamford Bridge, Hull have emerged as a possible destination for the 20-year-old.

Chelsea are reluctant to let Aina leave as he is very highly rated at the London club and also because of his versatility. Aina is dominantly a right-back but can also be deployed at centre-back and left-back which is what is very special about him.

Chelsea are not willing to sell Aina permanently but may be open to a loan move for the youngster to gain valuable experience and game time in a very competitive Championship division.

Aina has previously captained the England U19 side but has chosen to represent the Nigerian national team after being called up for them last month.

The youngster made two appearances for Chelsea last season and is looking for more playing time which is what Hull are hoping will convince the right-back to move to the KCOM Stadium on a season long loan as he looks to cement a place in the Nigerian squad for the upcoming 2018 World Cup in Russia.
