# Abraham pens new deal and seals Swansea loan

Tammy Abraham, the man who was firing in goals for Bristol City last season, has now signed a new five-year deal with the Blues and moved straight out on loan to [Premier League](https://readpl.com/) outfit Swansea.

The highly-rated teenage striker has now become the Swans’ second signing of the summer as confirmed on their [website](https://www.swanseacity.com/news/tammy-abraham-joins-swans-loan).

After bagging 26 goals for [Championship](https://readchampionship.com/) side Bristol City, he was linked with a number of teams recently, including newly promoted Newcastle.

The 19-year-old has just returned from the European Championship, where the England U21’s reached the semi-final. Abraham is sure to find the same consistent game-time at the Liberty Stadium that he finds on an international level.

Abraham is one of many shining stars in the Chelsea squad that will get a loan opportunity this season and for many, they will prove beneficial in ensuring they reach their potential.

Chelsea fans will be eagerly waiting to see how Abraham gets on in a Swansea shirt this season.
