Rostov have officially confirmed the signing of Quintero (see above) as he completes his move to Russia.

This is his first loan move away from Chelsea as he looks to make his first big stride towards first-team football.

Quintero is yet to make his debut in the senior side for Chelsea since signing for the club in 2014.

The midfielder joined the Blues youth set-up from Spanish giants Barcelona, looking to continue his development in England.

The Ecuadorian will now spend the 2017/18 season in Russia, earning valuable first-team experience at the top level of Russian football.

Quintero’s Chelsea contract expired last week but it is set to be announced in the coming days that he has signed a fresh deal with the club to commit his future to the club.
