# Juventus expected to sign Chelsea target Bernadeschi

In a month where Chelsea have been rocked by supposedly nailed on signings appear to be snubbing them to complete moves elsewhere, Chelsea may have missed out on yet another target.

The Blues have been [considering a move](https://readchelsea.com/2017/05/30/chelsea-looking-land-bernadeschi/) for highly-rated Fiorentina winger Federico Bernadeschi this summer, but Chelsea seem to have [fallen behind Juventus](https://readchelsea.com/2017/06/23/juventus-favourites-land-chelsea-target-bernadeschi/) in the race to secure his signature.

Barcelona [have also been linked](https://readchelsea.com/2017/06/16/barcelona-join-race-sign-federico-bernadeschi/) with the Italy international attacker this summer, but [Tuttosport](https://www.tuttosport.com/news/scommesse/2017/06/22-26977675/juve_obiettivo_bernardeschi_a_1_67/) are reporting that the Serie A champions are expecting to finalise the transfer of Bernadeschi this summer.

Fiorentina have accepted Juventus’ £35m bid and the Old Lady want to be the deal wrapped up within the next week or so.

Having played a starring role for Italy at this summer’s U21 European Championships, interest in Bernadeschi was high but it appears as if Chelsea have been beaten by Juventus to his signature.

Also for alternatives for the Blues, Real Madrid’s James Rodriguez remains a target but interest in him is equally strong with Manchester United, Liverpool and Bayern Munich all vying for him.
