# Pedro gives injury update after collision during win over Arsenal

Whilst there were plenty of positives to take away from Chelsea’s pre-season win over Arsenal in Beijing, the one downside was the injury suffered by Pedro.

The Spaniard took a nasty blow to the head after a collision with Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina and was taken to hospital with a suspected concussion.

Whilst there is no official word yet on the winger’s injury, he did take to Twitter to inform fans that he was feeling ok and also to thank them for their support.

Speaking after the game, Antonio Conte did say that his striker was being checked over at the hospital and that he still has a chance to play a further part in the tour of Asia.

He said:

> \[Pedro\] should be OK. He stays here and if the situation is OK he will come tomorrow to Singapore.
