# Chelsea considering move for Djibril Sidibe

It appears that after being beaten by Manchester City to Kyle Walker, Benjamin Mendy and Danilo this summer, Chelsea are ready to try again for new fullback before the transfer window shuts.

With just Victor Moses and Marcos Alonso as his reliable options on either flank, Antonio Conte is eyeing up a move for Monaco standout Djibril Sidibe, say the [London Evening Standard](https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/extraordinary-alex-sando-wont-join-chelsea-this-summer-says-juventus-boss-massimiliano-allegri-a3600006.html).

Juventus have ruled out a departure for Alex Sandro who has been a long-term Chelsea target and now Conte is readying a move for Sidibe to solve his fullback problem.

The France international had a breakthrough season for Monaco last season but the Ligue 1 champions are reluctant to let any more talent leave the club after selling Bernardo Silva and Mendy to Manchester City, along with Tiemoue Bakayoko who has already arrived at Stamford Bridge.

Arsenal’s Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Southampton pair Cedric Soares and former Blue Ryan Bertrand are both also being considered by Chelsea.
