# Inter Milan want Christensen in part-exchange deal

All the talk has been about how this is the year Andreas Christensen will stake his claim for a regular first-team place, but the talented young centre-back could be on his way.

It’s [reported](https://www.calciomercato.com/en/news/inter-ponder-swap-deal-to-sign-chelsea-starlet-75422) that Christensen is wanted by Inter Milan this summer and that the could ask to sign him in a part-exchange deal that will see winger Antonio Candreva make a move to Chelsea.

Chelsea have been chasing Candreva for much of the summer after coming close to signing him back in January but are reluctant to meet Inter’s €25m asking price for the 30-year-old.

Inter’s compromise is to lower their price-tag on the Italy international but request that Christensen makes the move to the San Siro in the process.

Having allowed John Terry, Tomas Kalas and Nathan Ake to leave the club already this summer, it’s unlikely that Antonio Conte would sanction a departure for Christensen.

Talks will continue between the clubs for Candreva but Chelsea will be eager to keep Christensen in any potential deal.
