# Bakayoko and Hazard fighting to be fit for Tottenham

Chelsea look set to receive a boost ahead of their game against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, with Tiemoue Bakayoko and Eden Hazard battling to be in contention.

According to a report from the [Telegraph](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2017/08/17/diego-costa-tells-chelseamy-destination-already-made-must-return/), the pair are looking to make themselves available for the game at Wembley on Sunday after coming through a behind closed doors friendly match unscathed.

Hazard had been nursing a long-term ankle issue but having played in the friendly against QPR, he looks to be well on the road to recovery, which is sure to come as a boost to Antonio Conte.

Bakayoko, on the other hand, has been looking to bounce back from a knee injury. With the Frenchman having missed pre-season, he is yet to feature for the Blues and could be presented with an introduction to English football at the weekend.

The former Monaco man could be necessary, too, given Cesc Fabregas’ suspension for the game against Spurs.
