# Newcastle and Swansea discussing Remy move

Chelsea striker Loic Remy appears to be edging ever closer to an exit from Stamford Bridge, with Newcastle and Swansea discussing respective moves according to Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol.

The Frenchman is allowed to leave the club in the final week of the window as Antonio Conte looks to trim his squad. Remy is not a necessary player to have, given that Chelsea already have Alvaro Morata and Michy Batshuayi at their disposal.

Remy was sent out on loan to Crystal Palace last season but as a result of injury problems, he was unable to hit any kind of form and returned to the Blues having taken very little from his spell away.

Now, the ex-QPR man will look to revitalise his career elsewhere, with Newcastle and Swansea evidently keen.
