# Chelsea consider late move for Alexis Sanchez

Arsenal have been firm in their stance that they will not be selling Alexis Sanchez but Chelsea are [reportedly](https://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/640444/Chelsea-Alexis-Sanchez-Arsenal-Manchester-City-Monaco) willing to test their resolve with a late bid for the Chilean international.

The Blues, along with Manchester City and Monaco, are considering a move for the forward whose contract expires at the end of the season to see if the Gunners are willing to turn down a huge fee in order to keep the player and potentially lose him for free in around 10 months’ time.

Sanchez has been offered a new deal by the Gunners but has not yet put pen to paper, with Arsene Wenger seemingly happy to let him play out his remaining year.

However, if a huge bid comes in, Arsenal might have a decision to make.

If they do decide to sell, there will be a lot of suitors but Chelsea will hope that their London location, where Sanchez enjoys living, could give them an advantage over other clubs.
