# Oxlade-Chamberlain reportedly prefers Liverpool over Chelsea

Chelsea appear to be edging ever closer to securing Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain from Arsenal.

The Blues have agreed a £35m deal with the Gunners for the England international, and everything appears to be going to plan for Antonio Conte in the final stretch of the window.

However, according to Sky Sports broadcaster Jim White, the player himself would favour a move to Liverpool, as opposed to Chelsea.

Oxlade-Chamberlain has been heavily linked to all three of [Chelsea](https://readchelsea.com/), Liverpool and [Manchester City](https://readmancity.com/) and while Antonio Conte is the man who has made the first move to land him, White claims that a source close to the player has indicated that he would like to link up with Jurgen Klopp at Anfield.

The Blues will hope that the Reds don’t hijack their move late on.
