# Zappacosta to fly to England ahead of Chelsea move

Chelsea are edging ever closer to securing the signing of Davide Zappacosta from Torino.

Pictured by Italian news outlet [Di Marzio](https://gianlucadimarzio.com/it/calciomercato-zappacosta-in-partenza-da-ciampino-la-foto), the right-sided full-back is jetting off to England as he looks to wrap up his deadline day move to the Blues, which was revealed earlier on today.

Antonio Conte has been keen to bolster his wide options throughout the course of the summer and it looks as though he has finally struck a deal late on.

Zappacosta enjoyed a hugely successful campaign with Torino last season and caught the eye of many top clubs across Europe, but it is Chelsea who will tie up a deal for him if medical examinations and personal terms go to plan.

The Blues will look to tie up more deals before the transfer window closes later on tonight, but it appears as though Zappacosta will be the first man through the door on what promises to be an eventful climax to the summer.
