# Tiemoue Bakayoko involved in car crash

Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko was involved in a car accident as he drove home from training earlier today.

Thankfully, the 23-year-old did not suffer any serious injuries in the collision, although information regarding the incident is still rather thin on the ground.

The incident has been described as a minor one and the Frenchman is now at home, meaning he should be fit for this weekend’s clash with Stoke City.

The incident took place near Chelsea’s training ground at around 3:30pm this afternoon, shortly after the midfielder has left to head home,

As is often the case with social media, there was a lot of widespread panic about the severity of the accident but thankfully, it was only minor and Bakayoko seems to have come away unharmed.
