# Willian speaks out on his future at Chelsea

Willian has been a regular and consistent performer for Chelsea over the years but the Brazilian has perennially been linked with a transfer away from Stamford Bridge.

Jose Mourinho managed the former Shakhtar Donetsk star at Chelsea before being sacked midway through the 2015/16 season and has been reportedly attempted to bring Willian to Manchester United on more than one occasion.

With Eden Hazard a nailed on starter, Willian competes with Pedro and Cesc Fabregas for a starting role in the Chelsea side which has seen the winger left out on multiple occasions.

Speaking about his time at the club, Willian states that he’s had a wonderful time at the club and he keeps growing every year.

> I’ve won titles and made history at Chelsea. I’ve experienced incredible moments at one of the biggest clubs in the world.

> I think I managed to keep improving my football even during difficult periods for the team. I’ve managed to maintain a high level of performance.

> I’m very happy at Chelsea. I just try to improve year on year. And it’s been happening.

Chelsea will be without Alvaro Morata due to a hamstring injury for an extended period which could see Willian handed some more minutes.
