# Chelsea among clubs looking at Kieran Tierney

Chelsea’s defence didn’t cover themselves in glory last night as they fell to a shock 3-0 defeat to Roma in the Champions League, leading to calls that the Blues need some more defensive additions.

One area the Blues are lacking is at fullback with Victor Moses currently out injured, leaving just Davide Zappacosta and Marcos Alonso as Antonio Conte’s fit and available options, but Chelsea have been linked with a move for a left-back to address this.

Celtic star Kieran Tierney [is said to be a target](https://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/656810/Transfer-News-Man-Utd-Danny-Rose-Liverpool-Dani-Alves-Chelsea-Andre-Gomes) for Chelsea after an impressive couple of years at Celtic Park. The 20-year-old left-back had as many as 17 Premier League scouts watching him in action against Bayern Munich last night.

Manchester United and Arsenal are both also interested in Tierney who is a top target for Tottenham as Spurs see him as an ideal and fitting replacement for Danny Rose who is expected to complete a £45m move to Manchester United in the near future.
