Chelsea have been drawn against Barcelona in the Last 16 of the Champions League.
Having finished second in their group behind AS Roma, and with four other English sides winning their respective groups, Chelsea could only have been drawn against one of three sides; Barcelona, Besiktas or Paris Saint-Germian and it was Barcelona who were pulled out of the bowl.
After a weekend where Antonio Conte admitted that the Blues will not be able to close the gap on Manchester City in order to defend their Premier League crown, there’s a chance that the Italian could give more focus to the Champions League this season as he hopes to win the competition for the first time as a manager.
