# Chelsea linked with £20m move for Leon Bailey

Chelsea’s attacking depth isn’t ideal in Antonio Conte’s own view and the club are likely going to dip into the market in the January transfer window to address that.

Other than Pedro and Willian, both of whom aren’t regulars in the Chelsea side by any stretch, the Blues do lack out and out winger options but Bayer Leverkusen’s Leon Bailey is one begin touted for a move to Stamford Bridge.

The 20-year-old winger made his name with Genk before making a £12.1m move to Bayer Leverkusen last January amid interest from Manchester United.

Bailey has grown into his role with the Bundesliga side this season, scoring four goals and providing four assists in 12 league appearances so far this season and Barcelona have also joined Chelsea in the race to sign him.

It’s believed that [Bailey is valued at £20m by Leverkusen](https://www.football.london/chelsea-fc/transfer-news/chelsea-transfer-news-bailey-aubameyang-14020527) which is certainly an affordable fee for the Blues should their pursue a move.
