The usually reliable Footy Headlines website have released an image of what they claim to be Chelsea’s 2018/19 home shirt.
Back in the 1990’s, Chelsea often incorporated some red trimming on their home kits but in recent years, they’ve stuck to just using white as the secondary colour on their blue shirts.
However, if this image is legitimate, and we have no reason to doubt Footy Headlines, then it signifies a return to using red and white trimmings on a blue shirt.
There are also rumours circulating that next season’s away strip, also from Nike, will see the club returning to their traditional yellow strip, signifying that 2018/19 could see a retro feel incorporated into Chelsea’s kits.
