# PSG make N’golo Kante their number one transfer target

Paris Saint-Germain are already planning their summer transfer business and according to [Le 10 Sport](https://le10sport.com/football/mercato/exclu-mercato-psg-paris-a-cible-ngolo-kante-pour-juin-352277), their number one target is Chelsea’s N’golo Kante.

The 26-year-old was born and raised in Paris and PSG will hope that a potential return home will be enough to get Kante to push for a move.

Kante only joined Chelsea last summer for around £32million and was voted as the best player in the country as the Blues cruised to a Premier League title win. However, PSG will hope a big money offer will tempt Chelsea to sell their star midfielder.

With Thiago Motta coming to the end of his career, PSG are looking for a player to come in and anchor their midfield and they see Kante as the ideal man.

However, it seems highly unlikely that Chelsea will be willing to let the midfielder go. He’s in his prime and will be a key member of the squad as they look to compete for a title next season.
