Alvaro Morata is desperately trying to work his way back to full fitness in time to face Barcelona.
Marca report that the Spanish striker has been visiting highly thought of Doctor Peter Wehling in Dusseldorf.
Wehling has treated athletes such as Kobe Bryan and Tracy McGrady in the past.
The former Real Madrid striker has been to Germany twice alongside Chelsea’s physio and doctor.
Morata has been struggling with a back problem since the middle of December. The injury has come hand-in-hand with a drop in form, the Spaniard has not found the back of the net since boxing day.
The striker has not featured for Chelsea since he was sent off against Norwich in the club’s FA Cup replay.
His injury woes have seen him go six games without a goal. Chelsea signed Olivier Giroud in the January window from Arsenal to provide competition for the former Madrid striker.
