Chelsea have missed out on the signature of Gremio’s Arthur as Barcelona confirm a deal to sign the player.
Marca report that the Catalan side have reached an agreement to sign the player for €30 million from the Brazilian side.
Arthur has long been linked with both Chelsea and Barcelona, with both sides preparing to meet in the second leg of the Champions League clash next week.
Liverpool have also been credited with an interest in the past.
The youngster has penned a five-year deal at the Nou Camp and is expected to join up with his new teammates in January next year.
The Brazilian has been ever-present at Gremio and is widely expected to remain at his current club to continue his development before making the move to the Nou Camp.
