Chelsea have been handed a boost in their hopes of keeping Thibaut Courtois this summer, with Real Madrid turning their attention towards Roma goalkeeper Alisson.
According to a report from Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo, as tweeted by Seleção Brasileira, Real will not pursue Courtois this summer and will instead move for the Brazilian international.

Alisson has been in phenomenal form for Roma this season and it comes as no surprise to see a number of top clubs taking an interest in the shot-stopper ahead of the summer.

Courtois’ contract talks have stalled at Stamford Bridge and there have been fears that the Belgian international will depart at the end of the season. He has made it no secret that he’d one day like to return to Madrid, with him having enjoyed a wonderful loan tenure with Atletico.
However, Real now appear to be focusing on signing Alisson to replace Keylor Navas. They may face competition from Liverpool, though, who have been heavily linked with the Roma star.
