# Napoli name their price for Koulibaly amid Chelsea links

Chelse have been strongly linked with a move for Napoli central defender Kalidou Koulibaly in recent weeks.

The powerful defender has been in good form for Maurizio Sarri’s side, who are continuing to push for the Serie A title. Koulibaly netted the decisive goal on Sunday as Napoli defeated Juventus 1-0.

Napoli want to keep hold of Koulibaly beyond the summer transfer window but interest is building, with Chelsea touted as a potential destination for the player.

Although the Italian giants are desperate to retain their centre-back’s services ahead of next season, reports from Gazzetta dello Sport, via [Calciomercato](https://www.calciomercato.com/news/napoli-c-e-il-prezzo-per-cedere-koulibaly-28842), indicate that Napoli would consider offers worth at least €70 million.

Chelsea’s defensive woes have been well documented throughout the course of the season and it’s likely to be a summer consisting of upheaval with Antonio Conte set for a summer exit.

Koulibaly has long been linked with a move to the Premier League and Chelsea will be hopeful of convincing him to make the switch.
