# Chelsea linked with Kwadwo Asamoah

Chelsea have been linked with a summer move for versatile Juventus star Kwadwo Asamoah.

According to claims from Italian news outlet Tuttosport, as reported by [Calciomercato](https://www.calciomercato.com/news/juve-c-e-anche-il-chelsea-su-asamoah-39642), the Blues are the latest side to join the race for the experience Juve player.

The Ghanaian international’s contract at the Serie A champions reaches its expiration at the end of the season, meaning that potential suitors will be able to recruit Asamoah on a free transfer.

A number of clubs, including Inter Milan, have already made efforts to sign the player but it seems he is biding his time and weighing up his options before making a decision on his future.

It’s been reported that Inter have already opened negotiations with Asamoah and have tabled a three-year deal for the player. This indicates that they remain in pole position to secure the 29-year-old this summer.

Asamoah can play at left-back, on the left-hand side of midfield and also in a more central role.
