# Chelsea name their price for Alvaro Morata

Chelsea have reportedly decided on a price tag for Spain international Alvaro Morata ahead of the summer transfer window.

The forward is being heavily linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge this summer, with a return to Italian football being heavily touted.

Chelsea only signed Morata last summer but he has since flattered to deceive after a good start to life in English football. In fact, the Blues could well look to offload the player after just one season.

According to Tuttosport, as reported by [Calciomercato](https://www.calciomercato.com/en/news/report-chelsea-name-morata-price-tag-as-blues-pounce-on-cavani-62215), Chelsea have named their price for Morata and will demand a sum of £52 million.

A number of clubs, such as Juventus, have been linked with moves for Morata this summer and it seems they will need to pay a premium if they are to lure him back to Italy.

Morata joined Chelsea for a record sum in the region of £60m last summer and, if reports are to be believed, they could now look to cut their losses early.
