Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly is set to be available to leave this summer, according to [Calcio](https://www.calciomercato.com/news/napoli-koulibaly-puo-essere-ceduto-la-cifra-21036).

It has been rumoured for some time that the player will be departing the club after being one of the best defenders in Serie A this season.

Napoli would demand £60 million for the player’s services, and [Chelsea have been linked](https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/chelsea-want-maurizio-sarri-and-kalidou-koulibaly-champions-league-qualification-is-a-must-says-a3827771.html) with making a move for the defensive colossus.

He has played 44 games this season for both club and country and has been instrumental in the club’s challenge to Juventus for the title.

Five goals for the Senegal international accompany a surely glowing scouting report as the Blues look to strengthen their defensive ranks.

An addition to the back-line could join experienced hands such as Cesar Azpilicueta and Gary Cahill, as well as the phenom Andreas Christensen.
