# Rudiger involved in training ground bust-up with Germany

Chelsea star Antonio Rudiger was reportedly involved in a training ground bust-up during a training session with the German national team.

According to claims from Bild, as cited in a report from the [Mirror](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/chelsea-star-antonio-rudiger-involved-12618479), Rudiger was heavily in the midst of a heated altercation between members of the Germany squad as they continued to prepare for this summer’s World Cup.

It’s claimed that Rudiger nearly came to blows with Joshua Kimmich after the Chelsea man followed through with a late challenge on the Bayern Munich star.

The report states that this led Miroslav Klose, Germany’s assistant manager, to intervene as the pair continued to react aggressively to the altercation, which led to other members of the squad involving themselves.

It’s claimed by Bild that PSG’s Julian Draxler was hurt in the bust-up, suffering an elbow to the head, which then required treatment.

Germany boss Joachim Low will hope that Rudiger and Kimmich put their differences aside for the country’s upcoming friendlies and especially the tournament in Russia.
