# Courtois not interested in Liverpool move

Thibaut Courtois is reportedly not interested in the idea of joining Premier League rivals Liverpool.

Respected journalist [Kristof Terreur reports](https://twitter.com/HLNinEngeland/status/1002440593337970689) that the player’s future is yet to be decided, but an Anfield switch is not believed to be an option.

[Reports](https://readchelsea.com/2018/05/31/liverpool-eye-shock-move-for-thibaut-courtois/) had emerged earlier in the week linking Courtois with a surprise move to Liverpool, with the Reds in the market for a new goalkeeper.

Two high-profile errors in the Champions League final means Loris Karius is unlikely to be the club’s number one goalkeeper going into the new campaign.

Courtois has long been linked with a move to Real Madrid but Terreur claims that the departure of Zinedine Zidane could play a part in the likelihood move.

The goalkeeper is out of contract at Stamford Bridge at the end of next season, meaning the Blues could be forced into a sale this summer.

Chelsea have been linked with the Roma’s Alisson as a possible replacement for the Belgian international.
