# St Clair to have Venezia medical today

Chelsea striker Harvey St Clair will have a medical today ahead of a proposed move to Venezia after turning down interest from Watford.

[Gianluca Di Marzio](https://gianlucadimarzio.com/it/venezia-oggi-le-visite-mediche-di-harvey-st-clair) reports that the Scottish youth international will join up with the Serie B side this summer, with a deal close to being completed.

The move is picking up pace after [reports](https://readchelsea.com/2018/06/11/chelsea-acedemy-star-harvey-st-clair-closing-in-on-venezia-move/) emerged earlier this week that the player was set for a move.

The Italian reports claim that the player will put pen to paper on a four-year contract.

St Clair is out of contract with Chelsea this summer and has turned down a new deal at Stamford Bridge.

The young forward is yet to make a senior appearance at Chelsea and is now looking to take the first steps in his career.

St Clair is highly thought of at Chelsea and his departure will come as a blow to the club’s academy set-up.
