# Sarri’s agent in London to finalise Chelsea deal

The agent of former Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri is said to be in London to finalise his move to Chelsea.

[Sky Sports](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11668/11410032/maurizio-sarris-agents-in-london-amid-italian-reports-of-imminent-chelsea-move) claim that a source close to the manager has confirmed the Italian’s agent is in the capital with a deal appearing to be close.

Sarri has been Chelsea’s number one target to replace Antonio Conte this summer and has agreed terms to sign a two-year deal.

Conte is expected to leave Stamford Bridge shortly after the Blues [agreed](https://readchelsea.com/2018/06/18/chelsea-aiming-to-resolve-managerial-situation-this-week/) a compensation package for the 48-year-old and the other members of his coaching staff.

Chelsea and Napoli have remained in negotiations over a fee for the manager, despite the Naples side hiring Carlo Ancelotti as his replacement.

Several Napoli players, including Elseid Hysaj and Dries Mertens, are being [linked](https://readchelsea.com/2018/06/20/sarri-pinpoints-dries-mertens-as-first-chelsea-signing/) with moves to the Premier League side, following Sarri to Stamford Bridge with Chelsea yet to make a major signing this summer.
