# Chelsea in talks with agents as they offer Alisson better deal than Madrid

Chelsea are said to have offered Alisson a better financial deal than Real Madrid with the Blues keen to seal a deal for the Brazilian.

[Il Tempo, as cited by Sport Witness](https://sportwitness.co.uk/chelsea-held-new-meeting-agents-monday-potential-e70m-signing-e5-5myear-post-tax/) claim that the Premier League side have been in talks with agents in a bid to strike a deal with Roma.

Both clubs could offer the goalkeeper a better financial deal than what he is currently earning at Roma.

However, with no Champions League football to offer the player, the Blues may be forced to put their hands in their pockets to secure their key targets this summer.

Chelsea have reportedly offered the player €5.5 million a year, which works out at just over €100,000 a week, compared to the €5 million Madrid have put on the table.

Alisson has been attracting interest from Chelsea, Liverpool and Madrid this summer, with all three sides in the market for a new goalkeeper.

Chelsea are looking for a replacement for Thibaut Courtois, who is set to finally get his dream return to Spain.
