# Barcelona make €30m offer for Golovin

Barcelona are hoping to beat Chelsea to the signature of Russian midfielder Aleksandr Golovin with a €30 million bid.

According to [Sport](https://www.sport-english.com/en/news/barca/in-russia-they-say-barcelona-have-offered-30-million-for-alexander-golovin-6950932), who cite reports from Championat.ru, the Catalan giants are ready to enter the race to sign the player from CSKA Moscow this summer.

Chelsea are still believed to be leading the race to sign the player, with some reports suggesting a five-year deal has already been agreed with the Blues.

Maurizio Sarri is a known admirer of the player and it is believed he is keen for the club to complete a deal to bring him to Stamford Bridge this summer.

However, there is also interest from the likes of Juventus and Monaco, with the Ligue 1 side lodging an official bid to sign the player from CSKA.
